Intermediate GIS

Course Brief

This course is designed to level up the beginners experience in some GIS essentials. The duration of this course is 50 hours covered in two weeks and divided into 10 lectures; each lecture is 5 hours in length.

Course Objectives:

• To give hands-on experience with GIS reporting
• Adapting various querying skills
• Create and administer basic types of geodatabases
• Getting familiar with advanced editing tools
• Understanding and implementing GIS topology functionalities

Target Groups:

This course is designed for the students, employees, executives, managers and professionals in the various public and private sector organizations who have basic knowledge with GIS.

Prerequisite

Students should have basic ArcGIS for Desktop skills as well as good English language skills
